- Special Features — Unplug the range or shut off the house circuit breaker for the range before servicing the unit. Wear work gloves to protect your hands. Pulled stove out. Removed screws(5) holding top unit. Tipped top unit to get at the control board. Removed screws holding control board. Removed wires from old board and put on to the new board. Reinstalled top panel and turn breaker back on. Note: you will need to gentley remove the overlay from the old and put on the new board. It is recommended to buy a new overlay when ordering this control board.
