- NO ELECTRICITY REQUIRED: Requiring no electricity, the permeate pump is powered solely by the energy from brine water in order to force the purified water into the storage tank. This process effectively reduces the membrane back pressure to less than 5 psi and allows the membrane to maximize its use of the available feed pressure.
- EFFICIENCY IMPROVEMENT: The included pump eliminates the need for hydraulic shutoff valves and can be used to replace booster pumps in well water applications. Ideal for membranes rated from 10 to 100 GPD, it improves recovery rates by as much as 400% and reduces waste water by as much as 80%. It is effective for inlet water pressure as low as 40 psi.
